Parks and gardens

Designed green space: parterres, lawns, avenues, botanical planting.

The gardens of Linderhof from above, the oval basin and terraced parterres running up to a wooded ridge and grey mountains. Stone lanterns covered in lichen rest amid moss-covered ground and green foliage. An orange torii gate marks an entrance in a Japanese garden, with stone lanterns and rocks amid dense vegetation. Small stone head sculptures clustered together, aged and overgrown with moss.
