Appearance

Hoya carnosa 'Compacta'

Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' close up, its thick leaves folded and twisted tightly along the stem so both faces of each leaf show at once, growing in a terracotta pot topped with coarse grit. A hanging length of Hoya carnosa 'Compacta', the leaves folded back on themselves along the stem into a continuous twisted rope of green and pale cream. Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' from above, its stems trailing around the terracotta pot so the crowded, curled leaves loop almost the whole way round it.
