Frydek variegata

A variegated Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata in a glass vessel of clay pebbles, its arrow-shaped leaves each marbled differently — one almost entirely white, the others patched dark green and cream. A single Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf that emerged entirely white, hanging front-on with its arrowhead shape and quilted veining picked out in relief, green sibling leaves behind it. A Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf split roughly along its length, the upper half dark green flecked with cream and the lower half solid white, over a glass pot of clay pebbles. The base of a variegated Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata in a glass vessel of expanded clay pebbles, pale petioles rising from the corm with the papery remains of an old sheath still attached. A wholly white Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf photographed against the light, every vein and quilted panel visible through the blade, the glass pot and its clay pebbles blurred behind. A tight crop of an all-white Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf, filling the frame with its raised veins and the soft folds between them, with no green anywhere on the blade. A Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf seen from the side, its upper half mottled dark green and grey-green over cream, the lower half fading to plain white. A close view along a Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf, pale veins dividing it into panels, dark green blocks giving way to broad white sections toward the leaf edge. A Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf divided almost exactly down its midrib — solid dark green on one side, solid white on the other, with the boundary running the length of the leaf. Pale green petioles of a variegated Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata rising out of expanded clay pebbles in a glass pot, a dried sheath still wrapped around the corm at the centre. A focus-stacked close-up of a Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf filling the frame, sharp across its whole surface, dark green islands scattered over cream and pale grey-green between the veins. A focus-stacked Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf held at an angle, marbled green and cream from tip to base and sharp throughout, more variegated leaves falling out of focus behind it. A focus-stacked Alocasia micholitziana 'Frydek' Variegata leaf seen face-on, its arrowhead outline filled with a mosaic of dark green, grey-green and cream, sharp from the notch to the tip.
