Florida Ghost

A young Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' seen from directly above, its five- and seven-lobed leaves radiating out over a terracotta pot on a pale deck, each casting a sharp shadow. A single Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' leaf hanging front-on in sunlight, still the pale chartreuse of a recently emerged leaf, its long central lobe and swept-back side lobes lit from behind. A mature Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' leaf in deep glossy green, hanging in front of the pot with paler younger leaves behind it, showing the colour the ghost-white growth eventually turns. A close view of the base of a Philodendron 'Florida Ghost', where pale green petioles meet the soil and a brown aerial root runs down into the perlite-flecked mix. The base of a Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' tied to a bamboo stake with a green velcro strap, petioles rising in every direction from the crown, aerial roots visible above the soil. A tight crop of a newly emerged Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' leaf, almost entirely white with only a faint green wash along the midrib and the finest green veining across the blade. A focus-stacked close-up of a Philodendron 'Florida Ghost' leaf in mid-green, sharp from the midrib out to the tip of every lobe, with more leaves falling away out of focus behind it.
